  • The longevity of a natural silkpress can vary depending on various factors such as your hair’s texture, porosity, and how well you maintain it. On average, a silkpress can last 2 weeks and as long as 3-4 weeks for thicker hair with proper care and maintenance.

    Wrapping your hair at night, avoiding excessive heat styling, and using products designed to prolong silkpress. During your appointment, tips will be given for your specific hair needs.

  • Please click the Reserve your appointment link. It takes you to my styleseat booking app. It's best to download the app and sign in. You will review all services and select the best one that resonates with your hair care needs. If you have never booked before, I highly recommend the New Client FULL experience package.

    Returners will select the appropriate package that they need during each visit. Each visit, the hair and scalp may need something different or more.

  • Yes, ages 10 and up. Unfortunately, the price will be the same as adult service due to kids' textured hair sometimes more challenging than adults.

  • Yes, absolutely! Hair should be free from protective styles and detangled for a smooth hair appointment.

  • Yes. If you’re looking for a personalized hair and scalp care plan and want to see real improvement in your hair’s health, the First-Time Experience is still beneficial. Even if your hair is braided back for a wig or blow-dried in preparation for braids, this visit helps set the foundation for a healthier hair journey.

  • No. Sleek to Perfection focuses on scalp health, natural hair care, and services that support long-term hair wellness.

  • This space is best for women who are open to education, positive change, and caring for their hair with intention — not quick fixes.

  • That’s perfectly fine. You’re welcome to book the Blow-Dry Only service. When you’re ready for a more detailed, personalized haircare plan, you can then book the First-Time Experience to begin your healthy hair journey.

POLICIES

  • 50% of the service fee will be charged if you do not cancel within 24 hours. You will be able to use the 50% deduction towards your next appointment. Appointments will need to be within that same month only.

  • A credit card is required to be on file when booking through styleseat. A small deposit will be deducted, and that fee goes to the styleseat and NOT your total service price.

  • Every 20th of the month, books will be open for the following month to reserve your spot. Example: March 20th will open for April bookings.

  • Communication is key! We are human, and things happen. We just request to keep us posted if you are running behind.

    You are given a 15-minute grace period. After 15 minutes, your appointment will be canceled. Your booking fee will be forfeited, and you can reschedule for a new appointment with a new appointment.

  • Due to limited space, you are not allowed to bring extra guests unless they are getting serviced. No extra children are allowed.

  • If you are unsatisfied in any way, please feel free to let your stylist know before leaving the salon. Client satisfaction is our #1 goal. Due to the time and labor that comes along with servicing hair, we do not offer refunds on services.
